I am looking to implement ISE-PIC for 500 users. Will the standard license up to 3000 sessions (R-ISE-PIC-VM-K9) be satisfactory? I am not sure if users ever create more than one session? Thank you. Charles.
That should more than cover those 500 users. The "passive" login monitoring happens when users login to the AD - as long as users don't use the same credentials elsewhere (e.g. additional computers) then 500 should be your target value.
