ISE2.4 incorrect VM licensing

Hi All,

customer did the fresh install using ISE2.4 ISO.

Setup is  64GB RAM, 8 cores.

However, ISE asking for Large VM license instead of Medium. Can see “out of compliance” error on licensing page.

We changed the cores to 6, “out of compliance” moved to Small VM keeping RAM unchanged. The situation is like it never goes to Medium VM.

VM reservation :

CPU : Disabled

Memory : Disabled

Does VM reservation impact the licensing. Is it some sort of known behavior.

Any help would be appreciated.

Regards

Gagandeep Singh

Also, per the CPU allocation bug filed 6 or 8 are no longer the correct CPUs you should be allocating.  12 CPUs is a 3515 and 16 CPUs is 3595.  If you use the new OVAs this is how you will see them structured.
