Greetings,
We are currently using ISE for wireless, and I was asked about using it for wired to be able to send DACL's to clients. I know this works as we have tested it, but short or rolling some out to see what happens, was wondering if anyone has done similar and can answer licensing questions.
1: We have profiling turned on, so I believe it will use a base and plus license for each device.
2: Do the licenses release after a while, or not until the client is offline?
Basically they are looking at private vlans, but the caveat is you can't do it and also have a voice vlan. I'm just trying to get a grasp of what licensing and if it holds the license.
Thanks,

Base is required for basic AAA RADIUS wireless wired. Plus is required for BYOD profiling etc
The license is released after the RADIUS accounting stop from the NAD is received
