Microsoft Intune MDM Error Message

I have noticed the Microsoft Intune integration I get this error message

External MDM Server Connection Failure. : Reason is Connection Failed to the MDM server host - fef.msub01.manage.microsoft.com; and port - null : check connection parameters : IOException message = fef.msub01.manage.microsoft.com: Name or service not known  ServerType = 

However when I go into the MDM configuration and do a test connection it is successfull.

Not entirely sure what the error message relates to.

Is DNS working correctly on your ISE nodes?  What about the necessary outbound ports?

The virtual server is hosted in Azure, and DNS works however by default virtual machines in Azure block outbound ICMP packets, not sure if this could cause the issue
