pcGrid in 2 node deployment

In a 2 node deployment should both nodes be active for pxGrid?

Only one of my nodes the pxGrid service is running while the other is disabled.

When I rebooted the node that it was running the services started running on the other.

As far as I can tell they should run active active.

Yes, you should run it on two nodes if you want to have redundancy. Although, it is recommended that pxGrid is run on dedicated nodes.

Hey Neno,

Thanks for the response.  I know I should run it on two nodes.  My question is I have it enabled on both nodes, but it seems to only be running on one and not the other, and when I rebooted the one it was running on it flipped active on the other.

Should they not run active active? Or will only one node be active while the other is standby?
