Do we support below scenario for POS system with ISE?

  1. Any Transaction/swipe carried out from any POS systems should be first validated that they are coming from a legitimate POS systems before the POS server processes that transaction, more from an authorization perspective.
  2. This is the only use case they would like to enable.
  3. Basically the system should be able to read/understand ISO 8583 messages being generated from the POS machines. It is the International Organization for Standardization standard for systems that exchange electronic transactions initiated by cardholders using payment cards.
  4. Customer can have links from any vendor
  5. This requirement is for their PSTN based POS systems and not for GPRS based POS systems.
  6. Total POS system base should be around 2-3 lakh.

Any update on this?

We can't authenticate to that level (card swipe / transaction). We can authorize the POS system to ensure it is a valid endpoint on the network.
