Primary and Secondary Admin / MnT question

Good morning all,

Currently I've inherited a 6 node deployment: ISE 2.1 patch 8

Primary admin/ Primary MnT

Secondary admin / Secondry Mnt

and 4 PSN Nodes. 

ise 2.1 is having disk space issues filling up the /opt/ and I was advised by TAC to upgrade to new version as the cleaning would be only temporary or impossible in the near future because of ise 2.1 having several bugs . I believe the disk space issue goes all the way back With the current setup  Primary admin/mnt and Secondary admin/mnt. With the primary gets hit all time and doing both roles.

I'm thinking about switching this to Primary/Secondary and Secondary/Primary but I'd like to see your perspective and benefit of doing it like this.

So you’re prolonging the issue but switching the boxes that are filling up? I guess it would work in the short term.
