Hi everyone,

I would like to know how to expand free disk space.Because I' m getting an error like '' Error: Need at least 21 GB free disk space in /opt before the upgrade can continue'' at CLI. You can see below what ı write at CLI and what ı getting error. Also my free disk size for /opt nearly 21GB but it doesnt work.

ISE3/admin# application upgrade proceed
Initiating Application Upgrade...
% Warning: Do not use Ctrl-C or close this terminal window until upgrade completes.
-Checking VM for minimum hardware requirements
% Error: Need at least 21 GB free disk space in /opt before the upgrade can continue
% Application install or upgrade cancelled.

How can I solve this problem?

Thank you for your help and answer.

Regards

Try purging as many logs, reports, 'old' data, etc... as you can, then try again.  If that still doesn't do it, you need to engage TAC - they can provide Root access to the machine so files can be cleared manually.

Alternatively, if this is a VM, export the config, build a new VM straight as the version you want to go to, then import the config again.
