Screen blank after setup command in cli

after installing cisco ise .OVA message appear for ISE setup but executing setup command screen goes blank no other options appear for Hostname, IP address etc...

Which ISE OVA file did you try?

I would suggest you to try the following:

1. If using a serial console, please try setting UTF-8 for the character encoding, and LANG=en_US.UTF-8.
2. Import the same OVA to another ESXi host
3. Download a different ISE OVA file
4. Re-image it with an ISE ISO
