TACAS login issue with Cisco WLC5508

Hi All,

I have a cisco 5508 WLC. it was working fine with a TACACS upon deployment. But after one I am unable to login to the WLC eventhough the credential is correct. If I physically reboot the WLC then i would able to login the WLC for 3days- 1week, and the same problem will repeat. Can anyone please assist me.

What is the firmware of the WLC?

Hi Leo,

The firmware is 7.6.130.0

That is an old IOS.  The description of the problem points to an software bug which is probably rectified in later releases.

We have here multiple WLC's 5508 managing each one 400+ AP's and a very stable version for us has been 8.0.132.0. We ran recently an upgrade to 8.3.112.0 and we have not seen any issue.
