HI!

Besides Cisco Identity Services Engine Network Component Compatibility, Release 2.2 - Cisco

Does ISE integrate with Fortinet and Checkpoint Firewalls?

What 3rd party network vendors does ISE integrate with for

     -Routers

     -Switches

     -DNS

     -DHCP

Or is the above document all we have for compatibility?

Thanks!

Not sure what type of integrating you are looking for?

Does ISE integrate with Fortinet and Checkpoint Firewalls?

Checkpoint integrates with pxgrid

I did google search checkpoint ISE - https://www.cisco.com/c/dam/en/us/products/collateral/security/identity-services-engine/at-a-glance-c45-736265.pdf

Otherwise a firewall doesn’t really interact with ISE directly

What 3rd party network vendors does ISE integrate with for

-Routers

what type of integration? A router doesn’t really interact with ISE besides doing SNMP for IP to ARP bindings. Otherwise no direct integration needed

-Switches

Up to vendor to support (there is a statement in the compatability guide that discusses what’s needed) MAB, DOT1X, RADIUS, etc..

-DNS a standard no integration needed

-DHCP same
