What does the client certificate in EAP FAST represent?

I am trying to understand EAP-FAST and trying to implement it in a lab, my question is what are the certificates negotiated by the client in client hello? Server hello negotiates EAP TLS certificate, what about the client? Where do I get this certificate?

A client certificate represents the client - a user or a computer. Also known as a Subject in the certificate.
