Hi,
I'm working on an ISE lab with version 2.4.
When I try to setup BYOD or Sponsor-guest (both require AD integration) it shows the following error when I try to retrieve groups from AD:
Resource Initialization Failed: Invalid JSON: Unrecognized field "adgroups" (Class identitystores.ERSActiveDirectory), not marked as ignorable
and the group filter just shows null
Any idea how to solve this issue?
My regards.

Yes this is a known defect please send us your information on why use it. Are you a partner and who are you training. It would be good to share this information with us so we can get priority on resolving. If you would reach through directly to me and i will get that to our product manager
please open a tac case to attach to the defect as well and continue to use ISE 2.3 if you're needing this support.

I am still seeing this on ISE 2.6
Resource Initialization Failed: Invalid JSON: Unrecognized field "adgroups" (Class identitystores.ERSActiveDirectory), not marked as ignorable

Correct this is still present in 2.6. We are hoping for a resolution in patch 1. See the known defects here: https://community.cisco.com/t5/security-documents/cisco-ise-secure-access-wizard-saw-guest-byod-and-secure-access/ta-p/3636602#toc-hId-46800983
Also open a tac case and attach to the WLC bug and this one as well were it applies
