Our server team just upgraded our Win2K3 with Service Pack 2 and now our daemon manager fails to start:
net start rmdmgtd
The CiscoWorks Daemon Manager service is starting.
The CiscoWorks Daemon Manager service could not be started.
A system error has occurred.
System error 1067 has occurred.
The process terminated unexpectedly.
We've rebooted multiple times, tried resetCasuser.exe and checked system and dmgtDbg.log logs but no clues.
Has anybody had to deal with this problem?
Thanks!.....William

Check your Windows Event Viewer for any relevant dmgtd errors, and post your NMSROOT\lib\classpath\md.properties.

I don't see any obvious problems here (assuming D:\PROGRA~1\CSCOpx is your NMSROOT). Please post the syslog.log.

Daemon Manager is crashing on what appears to be a segmentation fault. The next step will be to do dmgtd debugging. You will need to open a TAC services request to proceed from here.
