LMS Message Filters

Dear,

Can someone just explain the LMS 3.2 message filter option. This is how i understand it if we say Keep and status is enabled I will these syslogs in the syslog report and if we say Drop and status is enables these syslogs will not be seen in the syslog report? is that right?

If the mode is set to Keep syslog messages that match any Enabled filter will be forwarded to the SyslogAnalyzer (and processed by RME).  If the mode is set to Drop syslog messages that match any Enabled filter wil be discarded.  If the mode is set to Keep and you have NO filters enabled, all messages will be forwarded to SyslogAnalyzer.  If the mode is set to Drop and you NO filters enabled, all messages will be discarded.
