Is anyone aware of any products that handle MAC authentication and management for Cisco switches?
Ideally we would like to have some sort of central database of MAC addresses that are allowed to connect to the network. If an un-known MAC shows up on a switch port then the product would disable the switchport.
I know there are a lot of unanswered questions and I see potential problems with this but these are the "general" requirements I have for now.
Thanks,

think, you can use Port Security for this, check out the following link for more info on port security :

In addition to Port Security functionality, you may want to consider 802.1x authentication. see http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/ps6662/products_ios_protocol_option_home.html for some additional information.
Hope this helps. Please rate it if it does.
