minimum user level for Archive config

Dear all!

I use RME basically for Archive management only, donot use other features like Netconfig, software configurations etc. And for security reasons we donot want to provide enable password in LMS.

So can someone tell me what commands are run by LMS for complete archieve management options. So that we can create a user on devices with a priviledge level only allowed to enter those commands??

It depends on the device type, and version. But in general, the commands are:

show running

show running brief

show startup

show privilege

enable

terminal length 0

terminal width 0

copy flash:vlan.dat tftp:

Note: RME expects to see privilege level 15 when it becomes enabled. If you want to do command authorization, the user will still need to be enabled at level 15.
