Hello Guys

I have a dubt If I configure two IPs where my Router and Switches are going to send Traps these would they received them even if they have the same Community String?

Example:

snmp-server host 10.20.20.1 version 2c TEST1
snmp-server host 10.10.10.1 version 2c TEST1

My Router and Swithces are going to send Traps to these two gestors with IPs 10.20.20.1 and 10.10.10.1?

Hi there,
Since you haven't specified the traps option in your commands you will need to use the global config aswell:

!
snmp-server enable traps
!

The router/ switch will then send the traps, even with the same community string.

cheers,
Seb.
