Dashboard or API

Hi guys,

I am still not familiar with all the features included in the APIs so I request your help.

Here is a list of need from a meraki user and I am wondering wether it is embeded in the Meraki dashboard natively or we need to use the API to get the info:

  • Availability of the equipments (I guess dashboard)
  • Intrusion attempts, virus, attacks detected and rejected (API?)
  • Bandwith per app (Dashboard?) Report per site/day (API?)
  • Attempts to filtered URLS (API?)
  • Top users by filtered URLs, by app, by category (API)
  • Top users (guests and private) - Dashboard

Thanks in advance for your help
Best,

Ed

Hello,

All of them are available via the dashboard but some are available via API too

  • Availability of the equipment (I assume the status of a device?) - Available via both dashboard and API
  • Intrusion attempts, virus, attacks detected and rejected (API?) - Dashboard, event log and security center to be precise
  • Bandwith per app (Dashboard:"network-wide > traffic analytics")
  • Report per site/day (Dashboard: "Organization > summary report")
  • Attempts to filtered URLS (Dashboard: Event log)
  • Top users by filtered URLs, by the app, by category (Dashboard: traffic analytics), available via API too
  • Top users (guests and private) - Dashboard: "network-wide > clients" page
