2 Gateways on PIX

HI,

Can we specify 2 Outside gateways on the PIX .

Although its is not possible but in version 6.3 I have to put the command :route outside x.x.x.x x.x.x.x z.z.z.z

&

route outside y.y.y.y y.y.y.y a.a.a.a

And it was showing both the Command in PIX Running Configuration but I have not tried it on the Live Network .

So is it possible ?

Sure, this should be fine. The limitation is setting two routes for the same destination network to different gateways. Most cases we see where this is a problem is people trying to set to default routes. This is still not supported. However in your case, you are creating a route to x.x.x.x through one destination gateway and to y.y.y.y through another destination gateway. This will work fine.
