3005 Concentrator issue

Hi,

I have a 3005 Concentrator that I can not http to it anymore; I checked and I'm allowing http to be able to manage the concentrator through the outside interface, I was able to manage it before and suddenly I can not. I checked under managed protocols and http is enabled.

Any suggestions would be appreciated,

Hello,

You can only login to the concentrator for http from allowed locations. If you are trying to connect to it from a dialup (DHCP ISP) you will need to add the ISP IP range! (BAD pratice.) this is why you would normaly manage this device from the internal network. You could assign a static IP to your VPN login - connect to the VPN as a user, then connect to it to manage it! - Might work. good luck. Mat

Hi,

you should also be sure, not to filter any protocol

on the outside interface. Go to your filters and

check if http is enabled on the interface itself.

Furthermore, you should not use http from outside,

that´s why we got https...
