ADSM Connection Reset

Hey all,

I got a "new to me" 5520 and I am trying to download and setup ADSM, but I am getting nothing but the "connection reset" error from all browsers. I have used the following commands and this is the versions:

http server enable 4443
http 192.168.1.1 255.255.255.0 management

Cisco Adaptive Security Appliance Software Version 9.1(7)32
Device Manager Version 7.8(1)150

hi,

is your PC IP 192.168.1.1?

did you type the ASA IP and port 4443 in your web browser?

can you post a 'show run'? just hide any sensitive info/IP.

ok so this is how i solved this. Installed firefox version 15, failed but
showed me "ssl_no_cipher_overlap" so Google that. Says
I need to enable ssl encryption rc4-md5 aes128-sha1 aes256-sha1, when I do
that it says: The 3DES/AES algorithms require a Encryption-3DES-AES
activation key. Got a key installed that, messed around with win10
workaround, enabled tls1.0 in Java and FINALLY got ADSM installed lol....
Then spent next 3 hrs getting the configuration right.
