pix ignoring two pci card ,why ??

Hi there,

You will get more specific information from the console during boot. Try to capture that output and see if it gives you more specific information. Otherwise, you will need to look at what the cards are and perhaps what changes there may have been in the new release by looking at the release note to determine support ofr the cards. Let us know if this does not give you the answers...

HI, perhaps I have foud the problem,that i82550 Ethernet controller chip cann't

work well on pix firewall,please visit bleow address,and check it is true or not,i would report this prolem to my customer.thanks!

I would say that this is the issue you are having if you do have the i82550 inteface card. As the advisory states, you will have to have the cards swapped directly from the TAC.
