Akamai Service and IPS

We are using Akamai service for our E-commerce and therefore the true client IP addresses are not visible to our IPS, Akamai is forwarding the true client IP in a custom http header field (True-client-ip) , can we create a rule on our IPS to use this custom field to monitor user behavior as one would normally do using the source address ( client address).

  There is not currently a method to allow the IPS to key on the "true-client-ip" header details within the packet for reporting; it will key on the actual layer-3 source and destination addresses.
