I'm trying to find a way to get a Cisco router or switch to send an SNMP trap when a frame is received greate than a certain size. I'd also like the trap to include the source and destination addresses and the protocol (don't want much huh?).
I'm open to any other solutions to this issue.
P.S. And using RMON packet size distribution metrics won't help as these appear to be on fixed packet size ranges.
