Alerts about high CPU usage and FTD Vault process exits - Cisco bug?

Hello,

A customer have about 20 Firepower 1010 H/A pairs. Randomly we will see alerts about high system CPU and at the same time there is also an alert about "Process vaultApp exited" This seems to match the following defect  FTD Vault process exits every 1 minute: "Process vaultApp (23597) exited normally: 256"  In the desciption it says "Contact TAC for Workaround".

Anyone knows what the workaround is? I had a case opened regarding this about a month ago, but the answer from TAC was to reload the device and that feels a bit strange if that supose to be a workaround.  There are currently 126 support cases attached to this case, so maybe someone have an advices on how to fix this.

Thanks

/Chess

Yes, it supposed to be fixed in version 7.7. Unfortunately we cannot upgrade to that version at the moment.

   - @Chess Norris    I acknowledge but that's  the 'core idea'  of the bug fixing procedures and subsequent iterations ,

@marce1000 I agree, but the customer don't allow any upgrades during the summer vacation period, so we need to wait. Was hoping we could apply the workarround in the meantime. Might need to have another go with TAC
