Hi,
Nowadays everybody is using Android or Apple devices which are huge in numbers and every single person is using 3 or more devices at one time. Obviously these devices consume lot of bandwidth. Now my question is how to optimize your bandwidth consideirng these devices.
Also how to block Android Ads on your network either on Cisco Router or Firewall.
Please guide.
Thanks
Bilal

Hello Bilal,
It is the same as if it were a single host. For applications, is very hard that a Network device can do much besides IP based QoS.
For application blocks and so on, you may need another product that is not a network device. The ASA and routers can do blocks, yes, but at Network layer. They do have some capabilities to recognize some protocols, but at application level is very hard that it can do much.

Hi,
Is there any way we can put cap on per user anywhere in router, firwall or WLC?
Becuase from shared pipe, when one user sucks the bandwidth others have to say suffer.
Please guide where should i limit that per user.
Thanks
Bilal
