I'm looking for emulator of PIX that can be run directly inside VMWare. I know there's PEMU, but it needs an underlying Windows system to work. I'm looking for one which doesn't need it. Does Cisco provide that? I'm willing to buy it if that's possible. Or does anybody know if that exists?
My idea is, as some of you could have guessed, is to make a virtual environment for testing new config before applying/deploying any change to the real one. This could make life a lot easier.
