ASA 5505 license installation

Hi,

on a 5505, i try to install L-ASA-SSL-10= ASA 5500 SSL VPN 10 Premium User License i just bought

on the CLI i type activation-key  xxxxx xxxxx xxxxx xxxxx

the response is :

The requested key is the SAME as the flash activation key.

The flash activation key will not be modified.

The requested key is the SAME as the running activation key.

The running activation key will not be modified. The requested key is the SAME as the flash activation key.
The flash activation key will not be modified.
The requested key is the SAME as the running activation key.
The running activation key will not be modified.

and nothing is installed !

may someone help me ?

Can you please share the existing "show version" output, and also did you receive email of the activation key, can you please check if there is 2 different activation key listed in the email, or just the one?

i confirm there's just ONE activation key
and it's the same as the running activation key (that's my problem :-)

Hi Pierre,

You already have the WebVPN and VPN users as 10 , so installing that license won't make any difference.

Hi,

i bought a L ASA SSL 10    SSL VPN 10 Premuim User Licence

in my mind, this license allow me connecting with AnyConnect Mobility Client (in my case for Iphone)

this license is not included in the base license

You will also need an Anyconnect Mobile licence.
