I have ASA 5505 firewall. I have configured using basic configuration for nat . The thing which happens is after 2-3 days the firewall stops pinging, the firewall is connected to a stack of switches , When this happens whole network stops pinging to each other. other routers connected to network also stops responding. Then i switch off the firewall , immediatly network starts working again.
Then it works for 2 days and same thing happens again.

Hi Kasif,
Are you observing concern pinging internal network or else the internet. When the issue happens, are you able to ping the next hop from the ASA or nothing works at that time.
Have you verified the logs on ASA to see if anything captured with which we can identify whether ASA is causing any issue.
Have you verified the CPU, memory on the ASA at the time you are observing the concern. Is the issue specifically with ICMP traffic or else you are facing concern with every traffic flow.
Regards
Pradyumna

Hi prdypan
Sorry for the delay When this happens nothing works , neither next hop is reachable nor we are able to connect ASA. Even more the computers which have another firewall as gateway also stops responding .All network comes to halt , no PC , Firewall or router is able to communicate. As soon as i Switch off the firewall, it starts working again
