Hi Experts,
I have a Cisco ASA 5510 8.4(3) and it's network interface is having some issues.
I have ethernet 0/3 which is configured to be a PPPoE interface, complete with MTU and security parameters given by my ISP.
Both the network interface LINK and SPEED LED's are solid green.
Which mean that there is an Ethernet link and its currently on 100Mbps respectively.
Is this the normal behavior for an interface configured with PPPoE?
In addition, I have ethernet 0/2 of the same ASA don't have its Network Interface LED lights ON even if the device is configured as enabled.
Could it be that these interfaces are defective?
Hope to hear from you soon!
Thank you.

Hi,
I think the first thing to heck here would be the link status is UP or not.
It might be possible that the LED's might be faulty with the traffic still working fine.
Check for the Interface Status and Protocol status. They should be UP and UP respectively.
Thanks and Regards,
