ASA 5510 multiple non-contiguous blocks of IPs

Currently I have an asa 5510 set up with one block of outside IP addresses. Everything is working fine in regards to my initial setup. However we needed to purchase additional IPs from our provider and ended up being a whole complete different block. Where I am getting stuck is getting the new IPs to NAT to inside addresses. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Hello Adam,

No matter which block of IPs that your ISP assigned to you, as long as those given blocks of IPs are routed to your circuit you should not have any problem.

Therefore create a static nat out of new IP segment given to you and host an XP box inside your network and try to access the XP box using the newly assigned public IP.

If your ISP routes newly assigned IP segment to your circuit, then you should be able to access the XP box or static, or dynamic nat out of newly assigned IP segment.

Hope that answers your question or concern.

thanks

Thanks for the reply. I think I figured it out. I had my addresses all mixed up in packet tracer. Doing real testing from a machine to a machine now.

Thanks again!
