Asa 5516-x Rommon upgrade

Hi All, 

We have upgraded Asa 5516-x to latest and final version 9.16.4 which got successfully. But post that we are getting the warning for Platform FPGA/ROMMON version is older than minimum recommended image as currently ROMMON version is 1.1.8. Now we have decided to upgrade rommon mode latest and final 1.1.18 following below article.

Can anyone let me know should I have to follow any upgrade path like we do in iOS upgradation. Alongwith what could be the precaution need to follow to avoid any device down scenario

Upgrade the ROMMON Image (ASA 5506-X, 5508-X, and 5516-X, ISA 3000)

Follow these steps to upgrade the ROMMON image for the ASA 5506-X series, ASA 5508-X, ASA 5516-X, and ISA 3000. For the ASA models, the ROMMON version on your system must be 1.1.8 or greater. We recommend that you upgrade to the latest version.

You can only upgrade to a new version; you cannot downgrade.

ofcourse there will be downtime as  you have to boot into the rommon,but if you have HA, then you can do it one unit at  a time.

Hi 

Just it need to follow any upgrade path, as currently we have Rommon upgrade 1.1.8 and need to upgrade 1.1.18
