ASA 5525 internal-data interface

Hello Team,

I want to unshut the internal-Data0/2 in ASA firewall. Could you please let me know what is the command to unshut.

It cannot be directly configured by the ASA administrator. It should come up only if you are actively using a Firepower service module as it moves data internally to/from the module's management interface.

yes but he mention data0/2 I never see data0/2 I always see data0/1, can you provide more info. about this internal interface.

How many internal interfaces there are depends on the platform. Following is output taken from an ASA 5555-X with Firepower services module:

# show interface detail | i Internal-
Interface Internal-Control0/0 "cplane", is up, line protocol is up
Interface Internal-Data0/0 "asa_mgmt_plane", is up, line protocol is up
Interface Internal-Data0/1 "", is up, line protocol is up
Interface Internal-Data0/2 "mgmt_plane_int_tap", is up, line protocol is up
Interface Internal-Data0/3 "nlp_int_tap", is up, line protocol is up
