First off, I am not extremely knowledgable on the ASA platform. We recently acquired some new gear for a temporary network deployment. First time incorporating a firewall...Using a 3925 as gateway and inside router. I have a public /27 I would like to carve up to use between the gateway>firewall and firewall>inside. I have established connectivity between FW outside interface and gateway (can ping out to Internet from FW) and FW inside interface and inside router. I have an "Outside" route statement any to the gateway router interface and an "Inside" route with interior subnet pointing to the inside router interface. The inside router is doing NAT'ing for several private subnets and I have a very basic static route set up pointing to the FW inside interface. I am missing something in my FW config I think...Not able to get from the inside to the outside. What am I missing? FW is not NAT'ing as the IP schema on the Iinside is public addressing...Please excuse my ignorance....
