ASA 5580 - recommended code ?

We're looking to implement 2 5580s in transparent mode. Does anyone know what would be the most stable code for this series is without taking into consideration the bells and whistles?

I would suggest 8.2.2.

8.1.2 is good enough, but there is more development in 8.2 and 8.3.

8.3 is fairly new and has many change (syntax and features).
