I want to Upgrade ASA 5585-SSP-20 from 8.4(6) to 9.8(4)12

Please let me know if there are any pre-requisites that to be followed

Hi Avinash,
According to the below link, you may directly upgrade to 9.8(4)12 directly.

Make sure you take appropriate backups of your configuration during the upgrade.
Are you upgrading a standalone ASA or two ASAs in a failover pair?

Thanks for your reply.

i had checked this guide and started upgrade directly to 9.8(4) - but we ended up with errors

So i thought of checking if there are any other interim versions to be upgraded first before going to 9.8.x

also to check if there are any other pre-requisites like RAM requirements --- etc
