ASA and BGP design question

I have a client that is planning on purchasing an ASA 5585-X.  They have two connections to the internet.  One is 10G and the other 1G.  Both are connected to an ASR router with BGP routing.  Will I be able to use BGP routing on the ASA to peer with the ASR routers to route traffic to the internet and use the 1G ISP connection for backup?

TIA,

Dan

Hi,

BGP is supported on the ASA device with the ASA 9.2 code.

http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/security/asa/asa92/release/notes/asarn92.html

Also , PBR is supported from ASA 9.4:-

http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/security/asa/asa94/release/notes/asarn94.html

Other than that IP SLA is already supported if that is the requirement:-

Thanks and Regards,
