ASA and multicast connection

Hi Everyone,

I am watching live stream of videos from website.

Wireshark shows multicast address of 224.0.02 but when I check my ASA I only see TCP connections from my PC no UDP connections why?

My ASA is connected to ISP and it has no multicast config.

Hi Mahesh,

It seems the multicast address you are seeing is of HSRP traffic.

Are you using HSRP in your environment ?

correction it is 224.0.0.22.
