I need a command line to know the part number of the ASA and version ?

You could also use the ASDM.

Tools -> Connamd Line Interface

Then run the command "show version".

hi,

is it an ASA 5500-X next-gen FW?

take note the part number or chassis serial number can be found using the show inventory command. this serial number is used for smartnet.

the show version will give you the ASA image version and the serial number used for licensing ASA features.
