ASA Content Security Lic.

Hello All,

I'm Just confused about the Content Security License. i have ordered 2 ASA 5520 with CSC SSM modules for redundancy.

the 2 ASA are configured for Active/Standby statful failover.

My question is: if i need to order the following options (ASA-CSC10-PLUS, ASA-CSC-10-INC-K9, ASA-CSC10-USR-100) do i need to order 2 license or only one?

In Case 1 Licence: if i activated it on the Active ASA will it automaticly be activated on the 2nd ASA when the Primary fails?

In Case 2 License: how can i access the secondary ASA to activate the license?

Case 1: No

Case 2: The standby IP or the console

You need a license for each device, whether it's active or standby.
