I have an ASA 5520 with EIGRP enabled and am redistributing static routes. I have a static route that is attached to an interface. If that interface goes down will the ASA still distribute that route?
You can try redistributing the static route into EIGRP in this scenario. You can optionally configure route redistribution. The Cisco ASA can redistribute routes discovered by RIP and OSPF into the EIGRP routing process. You can also redistribute static and connected routes into the EIGRP routing process. You do not need to redistribute static or connected routes if they fall within the range of a network configured on the Setup > Networks tab. Define route redistribution on the Redistribution pane.
