ASA Failover

Our primary unit failed over yesterday stating communication failure, but I want to failback. I used the failover active command, but I'm assuming that is not going to work since failover seems to be 'off'.

FW-IN01# sh failover

Failover Off

Failover unit Secondary

Failover LAN Interface: Sync Ethernet0/3 (up)

Unit Poll frequency 1 seconds, holdtime 15 seconds

Interface Poll frequency 5 seconds, holdtime 25 seconds

Interface Policy 1

Monitored Interfaces 3 of 250 maximum

FW-IN01# sh running-config failover

no failover

failover lan unit secondary

failover lan interface Sync Ethernet0/3

failover key *****

failover link Sync Ethernet0/3

failover interface ip Sync 172.16.111.1 255.255.255.0 standby 172.16.111.2
