ASA restarting

Hi,

i want to ask for my problem with ASA 5520:

ASA is runnig with no problems in production enviroment a long time - configuration changes are made weekly.

But today when i want to add a same new configuration commands to running configuration, ASA suddenly restart. After this i try to add configuration again but after three new lines added in command line ASA was restarting again.

New configuration is adding only a new 5 servers servers to existing VPN tunnel (i added access-lists for nonat statement) - so nothing complicated or serious.

In attachement is listing show version, cpu, memory commands when ASA is running normaly in production.

Can someone help where is the problem or how to advance to find a cause of restarting?

Temperature in room is about 20°C - so normal environment.

Thanks.

Hi,

Is there is valid crash file in the ASA flash? The command to check this is "sh crash". Check for the  date and time of the crash file. This will prove if the ASA crashed while rebooting. If there is a crash file recorded at the time of reboot, I suggest you open a TAC case for further analysis of the crash file.

Regards,

Anu
