ASA - Security Plus and Anyconnect Licensing

Hi, 

I have a serious doubt about the Security plus licensing, so I'm looking for some help.

When I try to install a security Plus license on a 5512-X appliance,  We got the following message:

right now We have 250 anyconnect essentials licenses,

If We will be not able to use the Anyconnect Essentials,

Which license Should We buy to Still have anyconnect VPN access for our users?

Hello,

This is a generic warning since you are adding a license (Security Plus) which does not already contain the existing license features (Anyconnect). I think you are good to go. 

Save the current activation key using "show run activation-key" command and add the new license. You will be able to see both Anyconnect and security plus features.

one last question, Does it need reboot after the Security plus license install?

I think it does not, but even if it is needed, it will throw an warning and will not reboot automatically.

So, unless it asks, not needed.
