ASA-SSM-20 (Reboot sets password back to default)

Hi there

After rebooting an ASA-SSM-20 IPS the password is always reset back to the defaut (cisco). I have to SSH into the IPS and reconfigure the password each time. Anyone know why this is happening?

That's a new one on me. Sounds like your OS is sick. I would back up your existing config (copy the output of a "show config") and reimage your box.
