ASA to FTD (FDM) Migration Support

Hi Team,

Can we migrate configuration from an ASA  to an FTD FPR-1150 that is managed by FDM?
Does the Firewall Migration Tool support migration to FDM, or is it only supported for FMC ????

ASA model and version : 5525 / 9.14

Hi @vjgurram07 , Currently, the migration via the Firewall Migration tool is supported only for On-Prem FMC, Cloud Delivered FMC, and Multicloud Defense.

This could be a limitation of moving to FDM; if not, a significant amount of rule-based manual creation is the only option here.

Anyway, the migration tool is not 100% hands-free, so you need to do some manual configuration tasks that the tool does not support.
