ASA to FTD migration

Hi,

I am planning to do a migration of the ASA configuration to FTD with the current migration tool (would be better if new one is available...). My question is:

After migration and when I import the migrated configuration to FMC, will my existing FMC objects, NAT policies and Access Policies etc. be overwritten or deleted?

I am not sure about your question: since you now have ASA software how come you already have/use FMC NAT policies and objects?

I thought FMC and ASA work together only for IPS aka UTM stuff.

The current production firewall is ASA and the new one is FTD which runs Firepower code.

I did some manual migration, such as VPN and plan to use the tool to migrate ACL and NAT. Wonder if there would be any objects be overwritten.
