ASA5505 - Maximum bandwidth

Hi,

We are currently using ASA 5505 and we are on a 4mb shared internet service. We are planning to upgrade to 50mb and wondering if the ASA 5505 could handle the load.

Another this can we use ASA 5505 to bypass our service provider router? A how would be helpful.

Thanks,

The ASA 5505 can handle a throughput of 50 MBit under normal conditions.

But what do you mean with "bypass provider router". Likely that router is needed as it's managed by the ISP and has all the config for your public IP.
