ASA5505 question

Has any one seen the output from a show  run  just hang for 2 to 3 minutes before continuing.

notice it at this line:

    snmp-server enable traps snmp authentication linkup linkdown coldstart

and at the

     service-policy global_policy global

also does this during a show tech-support.

It is not normal. Can check that you CPU is not running high? If it is running high and perform the show run or show tech it will raise even more the CPU and slow it down more.

You also may want to check how many connections and xlates you have.  If you have a virus or something maxing out the ASA, then this can also cause issues with the performance of running some commands.

show connection

show xlate
